Brook and Bowlhead Green – 16 March 2026 AS FB FM RM ME JE JR HR PG ET LF SDW PDW LD JE JW SK walked. Good afternoon all, Our walk took us up MANY an incline, some steeper than others, but our intrepid group completed them all safely. When checking the record we had completed this same route in June ’25. The weather was a bit grey but by the end of the walk we were blessed with some sunshine. The flora and fauna were beautiful, with primroses, violets, gorse and wood anemones to be seen. We also saw several deer and lots of pheasants whose plumage was shining in the pale light. The group took the opportunity to take in the views over the pastures and to enjoy the moment as we chatted and exchanged stories and news. Underfoot conditions were generally good except for 1 area at the bottom of one ridge beside a stream.
